MEN'S FELLOWSHIP

Through the inspiration of God our Father in the Lord Rt. Rev. Omotayo Odunuga, Men's Fellowship was established in Nov. 1993. The pioneering Executive was headed by Pastor Rotimi Ogunbande the Vice Brother Ajanlekoko subsequently substituted by Pastor Bola Otuyemi. The secretary then was Godday Okosun.

The second Executive in year 2002 was made of the following:

The aims and objectives of the Men's Fellowship are the followings:

•  To have absolute belief in God and to have meaningful relationship with one another. 2Chr. 20:20 Ps 133

•  To share word of God with one another Acts 6:7

•  To give and train men strong spiritual knowledge and to develop in-dept

Knowledge in the word of God 2Tim. 2: 15

•  To train men in the fear of the Lord Act. 6:2, 13, Job 28:28

•  To train men to love the Lord. Deut. 6:7, Mtt. 22:37

•  To train men to love their wives and to be responsible parents

•  To train men to be visional so as to be fulfilled in life and ministry. 2Kin 6: 17

•  To groom men spiritually, politically, morally and in all spheres of life who will assume position of leadership.

•  The fellowship helps men to discover their purpose and Gods plan for their lives. I Chr. 28:9

•  The fellowship helps men to discover their ministry. I Cor. 12:28

•  To discuss men's issues and profer spiritual, physical and financial solutions.

Isaiah 51:3

•  To socialize and make friends one to another.

•  To expose men to the saving knowledge of God. 2 Thes. 3:3

•  The fellowship helps the visioner in interpreting and expanding the dreams of

the visioner.

•  The fellowship serves as solution provider. Act 6: 1

•  The fellowship serves as pace setter

•  The fellowship serves as training ground and reservoir for Pastors and all other ordained men.

•  The fellowship trains men to take steps that will develop their status and

promote them economically.

Membership

Men's Fellowship is made of seventy two members (72) cutting across all our Assembles but with the majority in the cathedral.

Distant Members

We have distant members who are holding key positions in their churches in

America , Canada and Britain . Some of them are pastors.

Meetings

The Executives hold their meeting on 2 nd Sunday of the month after the service while the general meeting is held twice in the month. 1 st Tuesday and 3 rd Tuesday. The latter is used in following members

Vigil

Our night vigil falls on 1st Friday of the month (11pm to 6am) where we pray for the church, the visioner. Our Bishop all pastorsl ordained officers of the church and all (CLEMITES). We also pray inextempor for ourselves in the areas of our ministries, family and finances.
