The Power of Faith 1

Isa 55: 10, 11 God's words are not ordinary words, they are words that are proven, words that are tested Ps 12: 6, 7 God's word protect you from suffering, from sorrow, from sickness. That is why I want to encourage you, let your faith be built on God's word.

If God did not mean business with you He will not send His men to your way. You could have been some where but it pleased God to make you to be available, Rm 10: 17 When you open your heart to receive God's word builds up faith in you. There is power in believing Phil. 4: 13. One of the powerful statements of Jesus while here or earth is John 5:24 That is the benefit of faith. Faith is what moves God. God wants you to believe, because He is not man that He should lie Num 23: 19 Put your trust in the Lord Jer. 17:5

Cursed be that man who put his trust in the harm of the flesh. Why? Because the harm of the flesh will fail you. Jer. 17:7 There is a reward in trusting the Lord. Have you ever considered that if God cannot do it no man can do it for you. If you seek help elsewhere you could get things that will not last, we live in a society that some people are involved in money charm. At the end their life is not better, their life is cut short in the middle of their days Jer. 17: 11

So, why not wait on God to give you the money you want, the power, the fame and the comfort, because when God bless you you are blessed. Faith goes beyond the product of our five senses, which is called logic. Faith is made up of three things: knowledge, believe and trust. You have knowledge of it has you begin to hear God's word and you believe what you are hearing which develop into a trust. Faith is like a coin with two sides, believe then act on what you believe.

Because many believe yet they do not practice what they believe. I know some people who believe when a man pay tithe God will rebuke the devourer and yet they don't pay tithe. They lack the trust. They consider their heavy bills. In the days of the Scripture Union, a man got a car allowance and pay tithe of it but his friends began to make mockery of him. The day he was to buy his car he met with the owner of the company and they were discussing politics and he said sorry I came to buy a car. And the man said, I appreciate you intelligence, I love your face and I am 15% discount off the normal price. There is nothing God cannot do for a man that fully trust Him and for a man that fully serve Him. If you are going to be a person of faith there are areas that you are going to neglect your senses. Because many here will go beyond the product of their five senses, which I call logic.

Until I hear it, see it, smell it, feel it or taste it I won't believe. Just as in the natural realm our senses connect us to our environment, so faith connect us to God irrespective of our age, education. It pleased God to use faith as a common ground for any man to receive things from Him. Our sensual perception does not operate in the realm of the spirit. Why? Because you can't touch God but you can believe Him.

That is why I want you to walk the walk of faith11 Cor. 5:7; Mark 1 :40; Matt 8:8 God's words are like soldiers, when you send them on errand they deliver. Faith knows how to accept the challenge of a miracle. Faith does not work for the settled and the secured. It works for those who are desperate and those who are determined.

If you hold on if you don't hang up answer will come. Heb. 10:35. Faith will not go until you cast it away. Until you say I can't wait for you, I have waited enough. When God is involved it will happen timely. I have resolved that what God cannot give me now, I don't need it or the time has not come. That is how it works for the people of faith. Hold it on, believe until the answer comes. Nobody get everything but everybody got something. When you keep serving Him He will give you what you desire.
