Stay Alive!

I want you to know that you are so special to God. The greatest enemy of man is not Satan, it is ignorance. When a man does not know what belong to his life he just open his mouth and begin to speak anyhow.

That is why information is very vital. Information is knowing what is available, and revelation is knowing what to do with what is available. You are not alive because of your beauty but God has kept you Isaiah 12: 1-6 When God becomes your strength it means you are receiving some energizing power, i.e. something is supplying you power regularly. To save means to savage from destruction, from failure, you are delivered from evil.

And when God becomes your salvation it simply means you are secured, that you dwell in safety and there is ho cause for alarm. We live in a situation and Nation whereby if you are not on the solid foundation you will be shaken. For you to survive 24 hours in Nigeria is a miracle. Fears within and fears without. There is no light, there is no fuel, even to use your generator in the land that is flowing with it

How does this affect me?
What do I mean when you consider Job who was blameless in his way, yet Satan came to him and God was boasting about him. Is a very trying period. A man that has been enjoying affluence and all of a sudden got disappeared. Many at-times we say it appears the wicked are flourishing. Look at the average politicians, they embezzled money and by the time they are leaving they want to put their children there to become senators, they appoints their in-laws as chairmen of Parastatus and we say judgment will come ten years twenty years, thirty years. Is God sleeping? No, sometimes in your innocence and righteousness.

In the office everybody is coming late, all your immoral mates those who are sleeping with the boss they are receiving their promotion, and another one says, since you claim you are a Christian I just need fifty thousand from you to sign your promotion letter and you say Oga I can't do that, then you will stay there for long came the reply. And you are there four / five years. The people who are three / four years your junior, are been promoted and you begin to say what is happening? God help one here.

There are times when such things happens several thoughts begin to come to your mind. Why? Because the devil want to break your spirit, he want to destroy your foundation and want you to doubt God. Because the moment you begin to doubt he comes with Satanic alternative. Watch out! Matt 7:24 Both the house on the rock and house on the sand will experience the shaking of the wind. The wind of adversity can blow anyone. It does not mean you have made a mistake 1 Pet. 4: 12. Why should I wait all these years? Because I just need a husband, I just need a child, I have done everything. Job 23:10 Isa 54:11 Just learn to hold on. Stay alive! For help is on the way.

Don't die now, your blessing is at the door. Don't give up your enemy is about to give up. Sometimes you are suffering genuinely because of self inflicted pain by reason of disobedience or sin. Ecc 7:20 There are something that comes because of your presumptuous sin. But in everything God will still remain God. Even if you are suffering and inflicted because of your mistake deliverance has been promised. You could have made mistakes in life but God is the God of second chance.

Attacks come in life to everybody whether you are young or old. The intensity might be different but everyone receives an attack. If you are without attacks it means you are like the ram that is tied down. The wicked are like ram tied and we seems to be envious of them. Someone said, Satan is like a captain of a ship who has been told that the weather is bad and many ships are capsizing and even the floor of the ship was giving way, so he picked the microphone, he gathered everybody on board, he said I am your captain eat whatever you like, play ball anywhere, you an destroy the television, finish all the drinks and they will hail 'all hail the captain' and he knows in some few hours the ship will be drowned. That is why Jesus said broad is the way but the way of eternal life is narrow. In our family people look down on us. Our friends laugh at us. Tough times, never last but tough people do.

WHAT DO WE DO?
1. Do not be envious of the wicked - No matter how they are flourishing because their time will soon be over. 100 years can never be compared with eternity. Ps. 73: 1-3 You run different destinies. They are on the way to destruction and you are on the way to life. That is why you cannot afford to do the time thing they are doing.

2. Consider your ways Haggai 1 :5,6 Am I doing it right. Are you doing it according to God's pattern or you introduced your own method of satisfying God? Ps. 139:24 Sometimes we might think it's right but that is not Gods approved method. The enemy of innovation is tradition. The enemy of best is good. One of the greatest sins is the sin of self righteousness. When the wind of adversity begin to blow ceaselessly consider your ways. Sometimes when you are at ease zion consider your ways Lk.15. If the prodigal son has not considered his ways he would have died in abject poverty. Until you consider your ways, until you stop listening to yourself and start talking to yourself you might stay there long.

3. Seek His face. Ps. 27:7 When the light seems to be growing deep, when things which are easily done before begin to become a struggle, you know something is wrong. That is the time to seek His face. When you seek His face then your face will not know shame. Let us learn to seek His face. Even when everybody is critizing you and you seek His face and you discover that God is laughing everybody can go and sit, but even when everybody is praising you and you seek His face and you find Him frowning you know there is problem. And there are times when you seek His face and you can not even locate His face.

A time came in the life of Saul, he sought His face but He cannot find His face and he went back to his vomit. Learn to seek His face. Withdraw, be alone with Him. Isa 59:1. The problem of some of us is that we have constituted ourselves as judges of God. We judge God and we find Him guilty. Have you forgotten that you are but dust. When you sin against man you can appease but when you sin against God only God can help you.

4. Learn to wait on Him Ps 27:13 Job 14;14 Learn to wait on the Lord. Are you prepared to wait for Him? Or you think God is too slow. God is not limited by time and season. Isa 64:4 They might call you a fool. Is better you die a believer than to become dead an unbeliever. Hold on! Don't die before your time. You are about entering the days of blessings.

5. Praise God Isa 12:1 Learn to give God praise in the midst of pain, then relief will come. If you can sing only in moment of joy then your strength is mall, but if you can sing in the days of adversities then I can vow you are a child of God Isa 43:2. That is the time to seek His face. When you seek His face then your face wi'll not know shame. Let us learn to seek His face.
